Glen Mapes has been an elder of New Hope Christian Church for over 20 years. He has been in ministry for over 50 years and is passionate in his mission to serve the Lord by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Glen has not only served the community of Rockland County, but he also has a heart of reaching others outside of the US.

Glen Mapes has been an elder of New Hope Christian Church for over 20 years. He has been in ministry for over 50 years and is passionate in his mission to serve the Lord by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Glen has not only served the community of Rockland County, but he also has a heart of reaching others outside of the US.
Glen has traveled to the Philippines on numerous occasions and has been involved in several mission and volunteer services. In 2021 he collected donations for food, essentials and medical supplies in a relief effort from a catastrophic volcanic eruption, which devastated residents in rural areas of the Philippines.
Eileen Bakker graduated from Elim Bible Institute, Lima, NY in 1982, as an honor student. Elim is a three year Bible Institute. She majored in “Bible”, and her minor was “Missions”. In 1988 she graduated from, Nyack College, Nyack, NY, with a BA, her major was "Bible".

Eileen became a widow in 2019 after the passing of her beloved husband, Hank Bakker. Hank had served New Hope Christian Church for over 60 years and is survived by his wife and three sons.
Eileen has served in New Hope Christian Church since 1983 in many different ways: heading up the youth group alongside her late husband, worship leader, organized a woman's group, and outreach.
She has a desire to help the Monsey community of Orthodox, the Ultra-Orthodox Jewish people, and non-Jewish people come to know Jesus as their Messiah and know the total character transformation, peace, fulfillment, joy, and eternal life that only believers in Jesus can have.
Leo Bailey was born and raised in North Carolina. He is the 10th child of 12. He moved to Port Chester, NY in 1970 where he attended The School of X-ray Technology. Upon graduation he took a job at Nyack Hospital where he was employed for 33 years until he stopped working because of illness.
